FEBRUARY 2ND and 3rd - 5TH ANNUAL LEFT COST SHA'BANG CAR SHOW – Oregon State Fair & Expo Center, Salem, Oregon. All vehicle types welcome! Set up on Friday, February 2nd. Pre-registration closed January 25th, so you’ll have to call and see if there is still space available. Cost to show: $40 at the door, $35 pre-reg; Vending space is available, 10x10 for $80, 10x20 for $150, 10x30 for $200. Saturday is open to spectators from 8 am to 5 p.m. children under 12 are free with paid adult. 12 and over $8 at the door or $5 with a non perishable food donation. APRIL 6TH – 8TH, ANNUAL PORTLAND SWAP MEET, Portland Expo Center. Hosted annually by six Portland Oregon area antique car clubs. One the largest auto parts swap meet on the west coast with approximately 3,500 vendor stalls and over 50,000 shoppers. https://www.facebook.com/pdxswapmeet/
APRIL 28TH, HEAP HERDERS SPRING BLING ANNUAL CAR SHOW, Caldwell Memorial Park. Bring your Classic, Hot Rod, Street Rod, or Rat Rod. Registration IS FREE, but asking for canned food donations for the Caldwell Organization on Aging food bank, Trophies, Dash Plaques and hopefully Clyde the Camel, Vendors, DJ, and More. MAY 28TH RIDE TO REMEMBER, 8 AM, CLOVERDALE FUNERAL HOME. Open to Cars and motorcycles, anything that drives. Gather from 0700 to 0745 Briefing 0745 KSU 0800. This ride is to honor our fallen brothers and sisters and those that are still missing. There is no charge and donations are gladly accepted. There will be donuts and coffee at Cloverdale to enjoy with conversation upon your arrival. This is an open invitation to everyone in the treasure Valley has a mode of transportation. This ride is sponsored by Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, Patriot Guard Riders and Cloverdale Cemetery. This Ride will leave from Cloverdale Cemetery at 0800 proceed to the veteran cemetery where we will engage in the assistance of helping veterans being able to attend your ceremony at the veterans Cemetery. JULY 21, EMMETT SHOW N SHINE, Car parking starts at 6am, there is no entry into the park prior to that without express permission from the Emmett Lions Club. The registration fee is still FREE but, we do greatly appreciate any donations you put in the jars that are on the tables. The swap meet will open as soon as buyers start walking that way, probably 6:05am. Pancake breakfast starts at 7am and is still $6.00/person. That is pancakes fresh off the grill, fresh scrambled eggs, ham, coffee or milk or juice. Lunch starts at 11am and is BBQ hamburgers or hot dogs, chips and lemonade also for $6/person. Also at 11am there will be a live band in the band shell. The area in front of the band shell has tables and is covered, for a break from the sun. Online registration will open in a month or so, so keep checking for updated information. Vendors also need to keep an eye out we will have a registration page soon.
